Commitment
Accessibility
We want this site to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, or magnification.
Accessibility tools
Every page carries an accessibility button on the right-hand edge, marked with the universal access symbol. It opens a panel where you can:
- increase the text size in two steps;
- switch to a high-contrast black-on-white scheme;
- underline every link;
- switch to a plainer, wider-spaced typeface;
- increase line spacing between paragraphs;
- stop animations and transitions.
Your choices are stored on your own device and applied to every page you visit. They are not sent anywhere. Use Reset all settings to clear them.
If you have set “reduce motion” in your operating system, we honour that automatically on your first visit.
What we have done
- A “skip to main content” link as the first item on every page.
- Semantic headings, landmarks and lists, so the structure is navigable by screen reader.
- Every interactive control reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Text alternatives on images that carry meaning; decorative images marked as such.
- Link text that makes sense out of context, and labels on icon-only links.
- Layouts that reflow to narrow screens and to 200% zoom without loss of content.
